Arrow couple s4/s5 questions

ok ive searched and always find sorted and incomplete or unsure answers. I would just like some solid experienced feedback on a few s4-s5 compatibility issues.

EXACTLY what needs to be done to mount the s5 dash and carpet in a s4 car? Whats different?

What needs to be done to use a s5 ECU in a s4 car(for electronic OMP)? Complete harness swap?

Dash bolts right in but you'll need to change the wiring harness to S4

Why would you want the S5 omp?

But if you did switch to S5 omp and ecu you would have to change your ENTIRE wiring system clear back to your tail lights. including dash. your best bet is to just use your S4 mechanical one.

The stock US spec S5 carpets for coupes has its mounting holes in different locations than the S4 versions (no mouse belts).

The colors are also different

as far as the dash, they pretty much bolt in. There were only minor changes to the subframes and those are bolt in as well.

The ECU and harnesses are radically different and do not wire the same. But the big question should be why do you want to use a S5 ECU with a S4 motor???

too much bs if not impossible. Plus the auto belts are a glitchy and generally poorly made system.
