Question Couple quick questions

1. Alright so when I crank up my S4 T2 during a hot day, my buzzer comes on with the "Add coolant" light. As my motor warms up, it goes off. I was curious if there was a reason for this. Could the sensor be heated up but the thermo be cold still? Which is causing it to not run coolant completly through the system untill the Thermo heats up. This only really happens on warmer type of days(Which i'm in Fl, so that's almost everyday).

2. Is it a common problem on S4s for the turn signal switch or headlight relay to go bad? The reason I ask is because in order for me to run my head lights and passenger side turn signals. I have to plug in my headlight relay, but when plugged in the relay is constantly getting voltage. As in, even with the switch on the headlight switch in the off position. The relay is still pushing voltage to the lights. What I don't understand is the fact that my turn signals don't work unless this relay is plugged in. Also, only the passenger side signals work. Now, the weird thing is that in order to make the passenger side lighst flash. I have to press the high/low beam controller on the turn signal switch. I'm sure there's either a short somewhere or the signal switch has gone to crap.

Could someone provide me with some info and if someone had this problem, how did they fix it because not using a turn signal in front of cops makes me a bit nervous. Especially seeing as how I lack insurance & the other needs to drive a car in Florida

I am going to put money on the switch being the culprit. I've seen similar problems in other cars, where the blinkers don't work unless you are pulling it towards you like you are switching between high/low beams. They have been faulty switches there.

The coolant buzzer is on when cold because the level is low. When you fill it up, you must loosen the air bleeder on the top radiator neck and pour in coolant 'till it runs out here.
The buzzer goes off when warmed up, because the coolant expands enough to raise the level up to the sensor - top of the radiator. Right now, your coolant level is just barely below the minimum - that's why buzz when cold no buzz when hot.

Alright, i've discovered my coolant temp sensor is bad. I'm sure this could be the reason that it's on the fritz, i've added coolant in before & it still asks for more
