Couple of questions

Ok so I finally got my motor to start again after 2 weeks, its an 88 GXL, but there are a couple of things:

1.- If I plug alternator in I will get no spark or fuel, it kills the signal to my ecu basically. So I start it and just run it to the battery. Why would it do taht?

2.- It is very very hard to start and it floods easily, basically it only starts after it sits a while and/or I put oil into the spark plug holes to raise compression. I figured this would be because of the high mileage of the car (210k miles) and the fact that after basically tearing it to pieces I found out the OMP was clogged and didnt work and the 6 port sleeves were removed. It has six even pulses across the motor but do you guys think its dying?

So could you please give me a hand, I am not that worried about the motor that much I can replace it, but why would the alternator do that.

if the OMP is clogged.. i suggest you go find some 2 Cycle oil to put in the gas tank. you can find this oil at any gas station and auto store. 1oz for every gallon of gas. just keep this up until you either rebuilt your OMP or if you considered blocking it off and planned on using the 2 cycle for ever.

if your wondering what the 2 cycle oil is... i'm not to sure how to explain it but to tell you to search upon it. all i know is that its a substitute for the OMP so that your fuel can lube the apex seals all the time instead of the OMP pumping oil into the housings.

good luck with the alternator though!

UPDATE

The colors are black with a white stripe and white with a black stripe to answer HAILERS question.

So the car started once again, but only after putting oil in the spark plug holes and letting it sit overnight, now it started but it ran like ***, wouldnt hold idle or rev up smoothly at all. ALSO, this kinda worries me, rotor #2 header was glowing red while number one wasnt, which brings up another why?
Any help appreciated, and Katkaroto, I been premixing since I got it because I had the feeling it was clogged, but thanks.
