a couple of questions????

ok, i have gone throught and taken out all the vac lines except for the 5 you need and i have a question, do i need the air bypass solinoid valve, its thte one circled in red in the pic, i have a fmic and the hoses that came off it go to thte intercooler.,

second question,

i plan this winter to upgrade to a stage 4 hybrid, is there a company that makes a new manifold for the 87 TII that will take a external wastegate???, i know ours is internal and you can only port it so much.

also would anyone be interested if i posted a copy of the vac digram i redid showing the only things you need???

thanks

No you do not nbeed the that air bypass solenoid valve contraption. i took off my rats nest and i took that thing off as well. its always good to include a diagram with something circled like that to clear up any confusion.

yes, HKS makes a manifold with both an internal and external wastegate. the external version is pretty cheap, you can find one for around $250.

There is always the option of a custom manifold, but those can climb up around $700 for a divided manifold with an external wastegate.

Slowt2 can you please post that diagram you redid of the vac lines that you need. I bought a t2 that caught fire so I have to fix the vac lines.

Thanks, Ed

Actually, you need a wastegate to stop boost building, otherwise it'll go bang...
