10s? will those roll bars interfere w/ any of the normal interior? you do realize that an rx-7 is single body too right... or are you planning on driving into a trash compactor at some point?

Uhh.. I had to have the cage in order to comply with NHRA regulations. Its no fun to drag race when you get kicked off the track on pump gas...

And the interior will go back in just fine, just have to cut holes in the carpet for the places where the bars meet the plates.

Have fun getting in and out Nice stuff though, you build it from scratch, or buy it pre-made?

It was the Jegs kit you can order straight from them. From there its just cutting and welding which was done by my buddy Tim.

Definately NOT SCCA legal. That would be NHRA only.

With your driving skills and power level, I have a feeling you'll go low 10s maybe 9s sooner then you think.
chuck

Nice cage! Now go bust a nut at the track.
