couple of boost Qs

First, I discconnected my waste gate vaccume sorce from the pipe right above the compressor since I am only boosting to about 4 psi and it comes up slow and wanted to try and hit fuel cut if it was indeed my wastegate not working properly. waste gate is fine but the nipple that comes from the intake tubing fell out giving me a somewhat large boost leak that could be why it didn't hit fuel cut but makes an awsome noise while boosting, let me just say it is very loud. anyway now I want an aftermarket bov but my concern is that I dont want to port it back to the airbox. and since bov are open during criuse and idle all the air would bybass the afm giving a non run condition. is there a certeain type of bov or am I out of luck.

you want an atmospheric BOV. if its giving you trouble you could put a check valve on it. someone correct me if im wrong but i thought most BOV's acted as check valves.
