could it be a short circuit?

my 86 Na has some charging issues, a couple weeks ago inthe next morning the car as out of charge so i jump started then after fur hours i had to jumpstarted again, the next morning it started normal, them again a had to jumpstarted so i took off and took the alternator and battery to test them and they work normal. so i cleaned the terminals and batery poles. the car starts normal for about a week and a half, then it does it again, doesnt want to start until is jumpstarted.

you've got a power drain somewhere. There is a search function at the top right of the forum thread list. Search for "power drain" and "short circuit" There is PLENTY of information about how to deal with these problems on this site. SEARCH.
