could my f-con setting be ruining my emmisions?

ive taken the emmisisions test three times now, once with just the main cat, once with the main cat with alchohol in the tank. and once with both cats and alcohol in the tank. i just thought that my fcon setting my be hurting my emmisions, its set on level 7 right now and was for all of my tests. if i put it on 0 or 1, could this help my emisions?

Something is wrong.
Does it still idle or is it misfiring?
You need to set it as low as possible without the car misfiring.
If it's misfiring, then I can understand why the HC's started to rise...

Elevated HC's are an indication of overly rich or unburned fuel.
Misfires can cause unburned fuel shooting out the exhaust.

if you think your f con is the problem then just take it out..takes all of 10 minutes to move the carpet, take the 4 nuts out to move the ECU shield and to unplug the harness...and before you take the test again tell us what mods have you done? and what you have taken out(AIR PUMP)??

You NEED the airpump in order to pass emissions.

I told you to put that air pump back on its the only way for the cat to do its job otherwise it sounds like you gonna clog your cat pretty quick.
