could it be my alternator or is it just my clock?
will i have a 2nd gen rx7 well the clock in the car sometime would display and sometime wont. but everytime i adjust the clock to the correct time and when it does that again the clock got reset. i was wondering could it be the wire or is it that my alternator is dying out. thanks.

Its a very common problem in the whole warning panel. I think theres some writeups on fixing it. Basically you take the panel out, remove all the solder, and resolder everything.

Yep, if he didn't do a writeup, you can find good info by searching for posts on the subject by him. He's pretty much the guy for electronics repair on this forum. I know he sold repaired units on his site www.mazdamark.com Not sure if he still does, though.
Edit: yes he does, for 45-55. He also will rebuild your unit for 35.
