Could I run 2 ignitors for the leading coils?

I'm running two msd blaster coils off the factory ignitor, and it seems to run smoother but the low end sucks ***. I think the reason is I'm splicing the +/- leads off the ignitor to run the 2 blaster coils, knocking the amperage in half. So that's why I need to know if it's possible to run an extra ignitor to power that extra coil.

Put the stock ignition back on, and run the leading coil with a CDI box. Not that it'll be much different than stock...

Yes, you could in theory run two ignitors...but the question is why? Stock ignition is VERY GOOD.

For a 1990 NA to have a 8k redline, the thing craps out at 6000rpm as if hitting fuel cut. Going from 6000 to 8000 rpm takes forever, even in 1st gear. I've checked fuel pressure, replaced fuel filter, fuel pump, cleaned injectors from RC eng. This leads me to believe the coil/ignitor is crapping out. Short of getting the MSD 6A, I like to know of any other way to wire up those 2 coils, it can't be that hard is it? Keith, RETed, NZConvertible, anybody?

The stock coils have proven more than enough for 600+ bhp-

I knew its capability, not so sure of its reliabilty. I had to bring in my Bang Olufsen receiver for repair due to bad transformer 3 times within 10 years, so electronic devices do go bad.

If it is the coil or ignitor crapping out, it's not because a stocker's not good enough, it's because your one is faulty. There's really no need to spend money on aftermarket performance parts to solve your problem, just get a replacement stock coil pack and see it that fixes it.
Always try the simple solutions first.

Thanks NZ, and believe me I've tried. I went thru the local yards with no luck of finding a single 7 but a 1st gen. And my prior experience with mail orders junkyard electrical parts has been a nightmare(ie heavy corrosion, or they wrapped the stuff literally in water). Thanks for any ideas though.
