Could I be hitting fuel cut?

I fixed my tps today and the car was running great. It is set up to spec. I was running wide open throttle in second and the turbo was really high pitched like it occasionally does in second... the only thing was that at about 6500 or so the car would buck for a second and then kick back in. This happened 2 or 3 times but not every time. Is it possible that I could be hitting fuel cut... I only have a cone filter and a cat back exhaust.

Its very possible, especially if your cat is in decent shape. I'd get the fuel cut defneser quick to avoid any problems.
