Well if your refering to the fuse panel, under the hood of the car that has the "Little Black Cover", if im not mistaken the main fuse which is in the middle of the fuse panel, if my memory serves me correct. It's the "black fuse" check to see if the fuse is good, and not damaged. The symptoms you tell me are basically the same thing that happened to me last year, while on the way to work in the morning. Lucky for me I have a mechanic thats a True Rotary mechanic, and he knows his ****, hes also very talented at finding shorts, and electrical problems. In my case it was a electrical problem. One of the wires that connects to the bottom of the fuse box (under the hood), was getting super hot there for it melted the wire, and actually melted a metal piece of that wire. So with a test light he was checking all the fuses to see if they have "power" while the ignition is on or off. So what he did was basically test the wires that run to the fuse box, and then he replaced the burnt wire, or rather the metal piece that burnt up that was connected to the wire. He just ran the wire directly, and that was it. Problem solved. If I were you have someone "Qualified of course" check the wires, and fuses with a test lightto see whats up. In the worst case scenario send me a IM, and maybe you can drive down to Miami, and he can check it out for you, im speaking of my mechanic of course.

Check your "main" fuse connections for loose hardware.

Also, when the car dies, does it completely die? As in no radio, lights, etc. Or does just the engine die?

Possible loose connection at the CAS? Thats what sends the firing signal to the ECU for the coils.
