Cosmo is alive!

i finally started the car on saturday. It started right up thanks to one of The Hitman's maps. I have never heard one of my engines idle so nicely. You rev it, let go and right back to 750 with no problems. I am suprised as to how quiet the engine is even though my exhaust is just the downpipe that came with the motor. I am kind of glad about this because i wanted to run dual open exhaust. kind of a 3 to 2 2 1/2 double pipes. I have developed a problem though that after 2-3 hours of her running i shut her off for a while come back and the haltech no longer reads rpms. i swapped the cas same thing. but i'm not to worried about that. my main concern is over. i'll keep you guys posted.

P.S.another thing i have virtually no lag even with the big npr intercooler.

Wow, I've been on this BB for 1 year now and still see names I don't recognize.

HN,

Excellent. We're assuming this is a 3 rotor 20B cosmo engine in a 2nd Gen of some type. What's your plans - streetable fun, dragging, autocrossing, etc..??

You should have some nice torque gains. Are you running the lighter higher compression rotors as well and tuning for that?

its the 2 rotor 13 re jc motor. i will be purchasing another t2 for a 3 rotor project next year. it will be a street car also. one note i forgot is that my 2 rotor did not come with an egr valve on the motor or intake anywhere. so those wishing to pass emmisions will not pass visuals. i'll be posting some more pictures on my website of differences between the jc and the rew. all the differences are in the intake and fuel system.
