corner piece

I just want to make sure that the apex seal corner piece is always installed towards the rear of the engine? Regardless of front or rear face of rotor since gear and non gear side switches between front and rear. Thanks for all the help.

if you assemble the engine in a normal way that is correct, the front iron is down, and the corner piece is up on both rotors.

the only exception is if you do some kind of bridge port and the corner can't be supported and needs to be flipped
