Corksport widebody fenders

what do you guys think of these fenders? price seems really good for a pair as opposed to the mariah ones. i think they look pretty good, just wanted to get some other input.

wow.. ther "over fenders" are just plain ugly. and dont even sit flush

the wide front fender seems nice, but i would have to see it on a car, only down side is they dont have a matching rear piece

They're ok I guess, but I would need to see them properly installed. I'm debating getting their or the mariah fronts (I don't like the looks of that vent so much) and having a body shop mold in the rear overfenders. I think it would look pretty sweet once it was painted.

I voted like a lot

I've been watching these ever since he put them up on his website... I really like the looks of them, and the price seems great. However, I will likely not make a decision to buy until he gets some decent pictures of them up. (Mounted properly & painted). I need to replace my fenders anyway, so this seems like the ideal way to go and really no more expensive than getting OE replacements (except for maybe used ones).

Go for the Corksport, be the first on your block! (and then send us some good pics and some to CS so they can have some on their site).

I agree, until I see them painted on a car I can't really make a fair decision. I think the fenders are very nice looking...but how will they look on the car. Also I think that we need something that will go with the rear of the car to balance out the look. The front track is already wider as it is (10mm)...I don't wanna throw it totally out of wack and get massive understeer. Can't wait to see some real pics...ditto about the overfenders also.

That overfender there isn't flush because it's supposed to be riveted on or molded in. It's just held with tape there to get a feel for how it looks.

According to a conversation going on in either wheels/tires/suspension/brakes, or race car tech, making the rear track wider would increase understeer. <shrugs>

we built our formula SAE car substantially narrower in back too. It was super neutral handling though, it was a blast to drive. The main reason for the narrower rear track was because it was made for autocrossing and we didn't want to nail a cone with the rear wheels that we had just barely touched with the fronts.

Sure they could look good with the molding, but i really like the body lines as is. I like fender flares on my Honda, but only cause i gotta fit the 17s in to lower it fully, but RX-7s are as perfect as ive seen yet. I actually only want to get a new front and rear and sides and maybe a supra style spoiler, but i dont want to make it really flashy, just enough to put a fmic. nothing special. the rims are big enough for me and its got the power already to get me place-to-place ahead of most domestics and cheap imports(honda, acura, toyota, nissan). If i were to get flares and had the money, id rather go with the mariah, cause just look at it. Its flashy but not overly showy.

I've liked those fenders since the came out. I need to replace my dented pieces of crap anyhow. Just need money. With my tax income its either:
1. Wheels
2.THose fenders
3. The type2 front clip that they also sell

I wouldnt call em rice. They dont weight ****. Allow you to stuff some wider rims up front. and look decent in the process. If it had Z3 gills...then its rice.

They arent rice, the air traped in the fender well is given ample space to escape and could help in 100mph+ ranges.

Widebody stuff is sweet if you've got wide/deep wheels... Gotta make the body and the wheels "match". And the front fenders are good for making the front wheels not stick out so much... goofy wide front track.
