supposedly sounds similar to the n1 single, which I happen to have. It's not that loud at all, and I have 3'' dp/mp with no cat. Anyone who says it's loud either has a n/a or is a baby.

The corksport really does not sound as good as the N1. With a full 3" exhaust, the corksport sounds somewhat raspy. The N1, on the other hand, sounds very "smooth" (?not raspy?).

For the price, the corksport cat-back is a GREAT buy. But it still does not sound as nice as some other straight-through mufflers.

just a FYI. The corksport is on backorder till mid february or atleast that's when they told me to check back with them about the exhaust (i canceled it right away). Atleast thats what they told me when I tried to order it in early January.

Well, I have th CS single.
I am N/A and have a downpipe and high flow cat.

It's pretty damn loud. I easily set off car alarms driving by. I like the sound at idle. It has an annoying and loud hum around 3-4k.

Turbos aren't as loud as the N/A's.

I have learned to live with it. I honestly don't know if there are any increases in performace though.
It is the cheapest one though.

When I find my digicam I'll post some pics.

ALSO For any one else with the CS Single.
Did your bolt right up and fit correctly? The sizing of the tube was off o mine. So currently I have an exhaust leak cause the cat was something like 2 1/2 and the adapter for the cat-back was 2 3/4. They also gave me a 3inch gasket. I need to go get a 2 1/2 one and see if I can seal it up.

just to let you know gsracer, the NA is alot louder than a TII. I have both. Both have a full straight thu exhaust, diffrent mufflers but both straight though. The TIIs volume doesnt compare. But to get rid of the rasp buy a presiencer or use a straight muffler before your catback. Maybe a corksport catback with a racing beat front half?
Even in my race dedicated car Im gonna run a presilencer.

Talking

I just had to say for the record I LOVE the sound of the greddy power extreme. I'm not too big on the Corksport (loud and shiny), the sound is very much like the stock catback in the mp3 there with just a slightly deeper pitch. The greddy blows them out of the water.

Yea I noticed that problem when I was fitting mine. Its really quite a difference but I bent the gasket a little and bolted everything up tight and it wasnt that bad. After getting the race pipe, the fit was much better and the exhausts exit angle was perfect. With just the exhaust it had a really mellow but nice tone to it, sounded really good IMO, no raspy sounds or anything of that sort. Now with the full race pipe to cat. back its really loud. Ive gotten used to it and think it sounds good and it kinda sounds similar to a BP

BTW- the Corksport exhaust is a VERY light unit. Maybe 10-11lbs max.
