anyone got a sound or video of a corksport exhaust on an fc?

 

All I know is it's LOOOUUUUUDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!

KenshinFC had one and he got rid of it cause of too many tickets from what I understand.

It is LOUD!!

 

I have the CS exhaust on my TII. As of now it is my only exhaust mod. It is louder than my first TII with the RB 3" and louder than my Talon with Thermal 3" and I still have the cats. On the other hand its a pretty deep sound, and i do like the sound but it is LOUD.

I have a NA S4 with the CS cat.back and its not very loud, just sounds sporty Id like it louder so i've ordered the race pipe from RX7 store which replaces all cats, then it'll be loud.

 

btw- On a more random note, I like that song they play in FF7 when they're at the gold saucer

When you're at the Gold Saucer (I thnk thats it, its been awhile since i played) It was the big theme park by Barrets home town. All the music was pretty good in that game.

 

S5 n/a with bonez race pipe and Corksport SS... loud as all hell. Like "wear earplugs on long trips" loud. Fireballs are sweet though, and power increase is incredible (esp with ported manifolds, street port, open intake, almost full open exhaust )

 

the sond was Live,"deep enough". don't think its been released on any of there albums yet nor was it on either of the soundtracks. anywyas. back to exhaust talk

 

Speaking of, Corksport does have a pop-in silencer for the tip now - it's not listed on their webpage. Kinda flimsy construction, but it *does* work.

The fit, finish, and construction of the CS exhaust are top-notch, though - they really did a nice job, it's on the level with Apexi as far as fit and build quality. I was VERY impressed.

I've heard/driven Daniel's car (above) with the Corksport exhaust - it's not SUPER loud with cats, but it sounds VERY good, and VERY deep. But, you can really tell it will be loud as crap with the cats gone - MUCH louder than the Apexi GT, easily.

Ive got the ThunderFabrications 3" DP/MP with the Corksport, and yes, it's very very loud. I absolutely love it, as the sound is deep, and does not get raspy at all on my 89TII. I have gotten many compliments on the way it sounds.

After a 3 hour drive, your ears kinda ring for awhile .

Construction, as Dale said, is Top notch. Welds are very clean, and it's completely stainless steel.

huh?? lol Im talking about Final Fantasy 7(FF7) when you're at the Gold Saucer. BTW- The Costa Del Sol songs good too.

 

there was a video posted up about someone asking how to make his FC's exhaust like the corksport. It wasn't that loud compared to the old exhaust the guy on the video had....

IMO, I like how the corksport sounds... but to each their own.

 

Well I remember installing the exhaust and was about to turn the car on and thinking how loud it was gonna be since most people on here said it was really loud and it wasnt like that at all. Sounds nice and deep but not overly loud. If the CS cat back is too loud for you I recommend not doing anymore power mods.

 

i just put it on my car like 2 days ago and its awesome. i recomend it to anyone it just sucks for the long wait.

at school i set off a few car alarms and its deeper and loader then my friends strait pipe exhaust on his 300z

 

the 3.0 V6 in the 300Z sounds like **** when opened up...

I set of car alarms at school too just idling by it's great .

It's really not the super loud sound that everyone says it is, but it's definately loud. dont let the noise level steer you away from it. you can thank me later.

I asked and they said nope!

 

the exhaust looks awesome on the car and it sounds mean theres no buzz to it

 

If only they made duals. I would buy it right away!!

 

Thanks ARD T2. Yeah, I had the RB DP and presilencer with the CorkSport Catback. Loud as heck. Daily Driver and at the end of the day, my ears would be ringing. Its a nice deep tone, no doubt, but after getting 4 fix-it tickets for it, I said forget it. I'm probably gonna go get the Greddy Power Extreme, Kakimoto exhaust, or Tanabe Hyper Medallion.

I've never heard the corksport but I am now running the Mazdatrix dual exhaust and it is pretty darn loud.
