the radiator is good. the hoses my friend got were the wrong diameter! they won't even fit on a honda they are so small, they are the right length/bends though so someone screwed that up.

i would imagine corksport has fixed the hose problem....

if you want really good black hoses, the factory rubber ones are actually really good.

Have you pinpointed the source of the leak? Rent a cooling system pressure tester and see where it's coming from

I'd have to guess they just aren't as cool? I can understand the benefits of silicone hose, but I wouldn't see it as a necessity in this instance.

that sounds like an oxymoron, good brand; tricky to keep from leaking

It's not the hoses that leak. And its only an issue with additives and Evans. slippery hose, plus less than new hose nipples at the rad and engine/thermostat housing and low surface tension solution make for a high potential for leaks...

Cool... no. i just dont wana buy another set of rubber hoses an have to buy another, some time down the road (if they were to get mooshy like my bottom hoses is.)

i just figured, why not?? new rad, new silicone hoses **** it.

but i called corksport the and there radiator had JUST gotten off sale the DAY OF!!! they couldnt do anything, (supposidly) so i ended up paying the original 300 instead of 250... so no go on the silicone hoses. ill just save the $$ and get the rubber set.

nope, just bought them 15/10/2011. They were a BEAR to get on and the there are 2 different hose clamp t-bolts. 3 are one size and the 4th is another size, however all of the hose outlets are the same diameter!

crap parts, crap fitment, don't recommend, should have just got OEM mazda ones.

I have the RacingBeat hoses, never have had a leaking problem. Plus they look good, however, it's hard to justify spending $90 on two hoses....

Thats how much the corksport ones were too. anyone have an OD diameter on these outlets so I can get some new clamps that actually fit?

I can justify the the 90 dollars because I don't want the upper radiator hose to leak air like it likes to, air in cooling system = bad.

Corksport Hoses

Although my post has been long since removed (and generated a great deal of heated discussion at the time), I wouldn't recommend corksport radiator hoses. Some of their products are fine, but the hose diameter is way too small, and in my case the hoses didn't reach the radiator. I did custom mount the radiator, however the stock hoses fit fine. I have to say that after a bit of back and forth with the manager they cut me an ok deal on returning them.

had a similar issue with some crappy chinese silicone hoses that someone provided for me to install on a 2nd gen supra 7M-GTE.

gotta love chinese crap at retail prices... name has already been mentioned(not bought from them for the poopra but the story is giving me nightmares/memories of getting that lower hose on..).
