corksport fender fitment pictures

here is stock7's car with a fender on one side. You can see some of the fitment issues. Anyone else put these and how did you guys solve the problem. I beleive the solution is simple and i will show a picture of how to solve it.

What other Corksport stuff? They are meant to work with stock bodywork.

Mine look like they are going to need serious work to fit around the bumper and doors too.

it was a joke man.
thats kind of odd the fender would not be bent out far enough in the middle there.

See if S5 tII side skirts will fit w/that fender. The front piece may cover most of the difference. They're fiberglass, right? I don't know any way the fender could be "pulled " out to match the door line.

May be time for a good bodyshop...

I'm not sure if rx7s are the same way, but on old American iron there are shims between the fender and rocker where the fender bolts on the bottom of the car. Removing shims will add more bow to the fender allowing the door to open and the body lines to match. Adding shims will remove the bow.

well i think it could be worked out by sanding the part in the engine bay where it bolts in and its about an 8th of an inch thick and should be able to fit if sanded down

not only do they fit poorly (which can be fixed fairly easily and should be expected) but they look like crap too that vent has to go

the vent looks a lil too big for my taste...but i think with a properly sized wheel and or spacer it would look badass....

Hey now.. It's all personal taste..I for one think they look great, although I will be putting some mesh behind them to make it look not so open. I just hope they give me the clearance I need, which I think they should.
