Corksport Exhaust on RB Presilencer
Hey yall. Ive been tryin to search for an answer, before I buy... I have the RB full REV TII exhaust and Im tryin to save weight. I was looking at buyin the corksport 80mm exhaust and I was wondering if it would fit on my RB presilencer, and mount with no problems. I have done some searchin but did not find a solid answer. I called the guys at corksport, and they werent sure themselves. So I now turn to my friends here for help...
whats the size or diameter of the CS catback when it bolts up to the main cat? is it 2 inchs 1.5 inch?
whats the side of the RB presilencer? 2.5 inches ? compare the size. You could always get it welded together..
i like the CS catback and I heard it was loud.A presilencer is the way to go though, I haven't heard a fc with both on.. Let me know when you record a video with both of them on.

It should fit just fine. 80mm is just about 3", which is the diameter of the REV TII system. The presilencer also ends in the stock y-pipe location, so no length issues.
As far as weight savings, you're going to save what? 25-30 lbs? Is that really worth all the extra noise you're going to get from a lower quality single muffler. There's a reason it's smaller. It won't dampen sound as well as even one RB muffler.

I would say its loud but better than straight pipe or gutted cats. The presilencer will fit but you might have to mess with tapping the studs on it so that it aligns into the catback holes. I would say if you are on the freeway a lot then get another muffler put in cause at 70ish its annoying for long drives.
The turbo should quiet things down a lot, but be aware that the CorkSport is a very loud exhaust. On my NA track car w/ RB header and pre-silencer and the CS cat-back I exceed noise levels for the track (103 dB limit, which is fairly generous) by a significant amount and have to run with the silencer insert, which really chokes power.
Good luck,
