so assuming you guys had an aftermarket header and no cat to worry about how would you set up a system for the best flow and least amount of high pitch noise heh. of course the least amount of mufflers.
also i was looking at these dynomax mufflers from the link. i see some that have the one inlet and two outlets. that might be goof for my application, but to me that seems like it would make it less effective at quieting. that true?
this is going on my 13b re powered vdub lol.

got my car done today, sounds phucking sweeeeeet. I installed the borla xr1 along with the corksport cat back, aint no better sound than hearing a rotary at full throttle. The borla xr1 did a good job of toning the exhaust down. Thanks guys for all your opinions.

Congrats on the borla install. Most people don't realize how much better the rotary sounds when one of these straight through SS mufflers gets added into the system. Make the car sound like a ferrari coming down the street instead of your average import car.
Nothing like gaining performance and sound for 100 bucks.
Also you do not need to buy flanges to add one of these in your current setup. You just have to make sure that you get the proper pipe size and then measure twice and cut once. Then you can weld the exhaust in place with all most seamless transition for better flow and no leaks.
I have never heard a bad anything about magnaflow SS. I currently have 2 4'' magnaflows on my turbo back setup now so I guess I can be the test case for this forum. Like I said before they are made of 304 SS and appear to be more durable than a borla but you can go with either one really.
I just got a DVD camcorder so i might have to get some before and after vid with sound so the racing beat lovers on this forum can never tell anyone to buy a useless pre-silenser again or be banned for life.
