corksport bumper question

Anyone seen the Corksport Type II bumper? To me it looks like a Border copy, does anyone know if it is or not? And does anyone have pictures of it on a car? I've seen many border front ends, and am looking to get one for my car and am not sure if the corksport is a remake or what, because there is quite the price difference!

Of course it is a copy. =)
I am actually thinking of buying one this week b/c I am repainting my car. Some biotch hit me in the parking lot a month ago. fender and front bumper crushed. =(

I'd say it looks nice if you want to keep the stock look.

I love the look of the borders & that nose. I'm going to buy one this week as well, but I'm not repating my car for some time, so it will look weird, along with the red sunroof! Red sunroof, white nose, and a aluminum spoiler, I'm starting to look like a rainbow on wheels! When I can afford a paint job, I'll definatly do so. I want a pretty big area for a fmic, and the border definatly looks nice, so it's my choice!

Does anyone know how the service is at Corksport, and the availability of that front end? I was also going to buy it this week, looks like there going to be getting a few orders.

You can get the exact sam look by buying the lower lip from Demonspeed.... it's well under 200$!!
Well, not exactly, with the bolot on lip, you can still see the seam from the bumper to the spoiler, but it's pretty damn close for less than half the price.

That's what I would do anyways...and probably will...

That's true.
If it's gotta be replaced anyways, might as well go for the sweet aftermarket!

That's the only problem, usually they are directly related.

So is that bumper fiberglass or ployurethane? the poly would be much better since would flex instead of break if you hit anything with it at low speed (like speed bumps) Please post and tell how you like it and how hard it was to fit whenever it gets installed

I have a 87 Turbo, it fit just fine on my car. Of course, I also added the 89 up mouldings and rear bumper. Their service was good, they even gave me a slight discount without even asking. It's fiberglass, pretty good quality. It required a little finishing, but nothing major.

In short, I'm happy and plan on getting the side skirts and rear bumper finisher now.
