cooling scare

cooling scare

87 NA flex lite efan, water wetter, new radiator...wierd noise after turning the car off sound like bubbling behind engine...and autometer temp gauge reads between 210 -250 normal or ??????

if your coolant is bubbling, thats not normal...

When was the last time u changed your thermostat?

I don't understand what you mean by "water wetter" perhapse more water than antifreeze? If so, that could be the cause of it, because it will boil away easier than a properly mixed system. Or you could just have a leak in the system. Have you checked the coolant levels?

Water wetter is an additive u add to the coolant/water mix. It helps the coolant "cool" better...

your water temps are 210-250????? that is way too hot. 250 means your engine just fryed... normal is 180-200
