Cooling hose through the bacv?

Cooling hose through the bacv?

What is the cooling hose that goes through the bacv to the UIm for? Mine was compl etely completly clogged.
and why doesd it go to bacv?

All that tube does is connect the hoses going from the water pump housing to the throttle body. It has no effect on the BACV. So if yours is clogged you can take it off (3 screws I believe) and replace it with one off a junkyard, or use a connecting pipe to tie the two hoses together. I am tired I hope that made sense.

The hose actually does assist in warming of the BAC to get it up to operating temp quickly.

It's possibly attached to the bac for anti-icing in winter. The bac cycles at appox 120 hz or there abouts. Icing wouldn't be a good thing for it. Just another one of my guesses.
