I am under the understanding, according to an old Icemark post that the cooling fan warning light only come on if the fan does not turn on when it is supposed to. On my 1987 t2 the light come on every time the fan turns on. So since the efan comes on when the A/C compressor cycles my fan warning light goes on and off. The fan works and I have no cooling problems, just a cooling fan warning light that is now an A/C compressor duty cycle monitor. This car is has always done this since I bought it. Does anybody have any ideas? Icemark maybe?
