so for some reason my cooling fan light is on. it was never on unless my AC was on before. i double checked and my A/C isnt on. my temps are perfectly fine and my clutch fan is still working. what would make the light come on if my temps are fine and the ac is not on?

 

If the fan dies, or the sensor/wire on top of the thermostat housing goes bad, the light will stay on.

This happened to me when the wire to the sensor broke. The fan then stayed on all the time, until it burnt out and died. Now the light stays on all the time, and I wouldn't doubt that that wire is causing some kind of short.....
