Drivers Side Carpet...hmm sounds like a coolant hose but I think the heater core is on the passenger side...

Well, peel back some of the carpet on both sides, turn the car on and have someone squeeze the top rad hose (after the cars warmed up, the system has to be pressurized)

It is the heater core. The coolant can go where ever it wants when the heater core leaks, trust me I had it all over the place when mine went.

its the heater core. finde where it goes to the firewall. cut it and block it off. just be sure to never need to use your heater.

Why do a half-assed thing like that? Just fix it. I never understand why nobody wants to fix the problem they just want to patch the problem
