its a pressurized system....it will be in the flow basically...as long as it doesn't leak your good to go

alex that will work.. Its a little shallow but as long as yrou coolant is full it will read and will be accurate...

If you are worried why dont u swap the upper and lower one.. the computer wont care as far as the upper switch goes as long as it can be plugged in.
