coolant seal fix (block weld)

alright so heres the situation
i have an S4 tii
my car had a coolant seal failure
and since i pretty much have no other choice money wise
i decided to do the block weld temporary fix
after cleaning out my coolant system with purple power and water several times
my water temps started to rise to about half to 3/4
and my add coolant buzzer came on
so i was just guessing the coolant seal was that messed up
but pretty much not having anything to lose now
i go along with the block weld into the radiator anyways
and try to keep the car going for 30 minutes
the coolant buzzer comes on at about 5-10 minutes into it
and temps start rising
but the temps drop and stay around 1/2 for most of the way
what do you guys think?
do you think it'll work or is it probably gonna be a complete failure?

and why is the temps dropping when the coolant buzzer is on

how do you know its the block? have you seen the leak? maybe its your rad. that leaking. might fail..and it might work, temp. fixes are temporary only..and i'd only do it if the car isent my daily driver..and im planing for a rebuild.

Use bars stop leak the one with the pellets in it.

Probably air in the system plus lack of coolant and that does = air. Flush it out turn it off each time if you do. no need to flush it wit the right bras stop leak. Put a can or two in if needed and go from there.

I had a friend add a can ever 2 to 3 weeks for like 6 months.

that CRC crap will work great for a week... then your water pump's weep hole will start leaking.

the only product that works near perfect is Kwik Way's Irontite Ceramic Seal. you probably have to order it straight from the company as almost nowhere carries it.
