coolant level sensor

im replacing my radiator and the coolant level sensor on top is plastic and broke into pieces. since a new one is outragiosly expensive. Does anyone know the thread pattern for the hole in the radiator so i could plug it? I will ground out the wire to turn off the buzzer of course.

get one USED off the Forum(Sec Gen Parts For Sale Section).I Don't want to Come off as a Nutbar, but Grounding the Sender will make it operable. That is not good. The Engine Won't have a Warning Device if the coolant is Low,and BAM.New engine..and since you just put in a new Rad,You are gonna Need to know if the Cooling system has Air,and IF it needs to be Bled...The Sender tells you that..

Yeah get the s4 one from Mazdatrix or Ray Crowe from Malloy Mazda. Don't get a used one, they all crumble. I just replaced mine a couple weeks ago.

I got one that works great from a local napa place and it was like 10 bucks.
If you have trouble, take your old pieces and compare them to the catalog they have there, the one I got is pretty identical.
