I'm leaking coolant from somewhere around the exhuast manafold. What are the likely causes?

 

The lower intake could be leaking, mine did that when i bought it. How bad is the leak?

 

Bad. I'm hoping it's just a freeze plug...I so don't want to have to rebuild this engine...especialy since I don't have the equipment yet.


EDIT: After looking at a diagram, and looking at the area it looks like I'm leaking from, it appears I'm leaking from the heater. Could Be worse I guess. Although It is Leaking a whole hell of lot from there.

 

Okay so it's not the heater, it's this thing that sits above the manifold. I have no idea what it is, as I cannot find it on any coolant diagrams.
