Exclamation Coolant leak Question..<<<<

My coolant buzzer plug on top of my radiator has eroded/broke away leaving a small hole, when i turn the car off, about 1/2 a cup of coolant bubbles out the hole. ive only had this hole for a few weeks and will be gettin it replaced but am just wondering if its doing any harm?? i check the coolant everyday and fill it everyday, it hasnt over heated.
but just want to make sure nothings getting damaged.
cheers

Dont wait any longer, replace it NOW! Do you actually think that coolant is magically, through centrifigul force, staying inside the radiator while in motion? Its there for a reason and a purpose. Take some coolant, pour it all over your hood after driving it, when its good and hot, and see what it does to paint. Not immediately, but it will become noticeably apparent. I paid 13.95 for that sensor, 4 months ago. Oh, and one more thing, sooner , not later, you will get sidetracked from your everyday routine, and when you stop suddenly while driving, get out your checkbook. Engines are cheap. Wal-Mart has one in the childrens toy's for 17.95, but it might not fit.

FIX IT NOW, YOUR ENGINE IS DYING AS YOU READ THIS!!!!

Hope you never have to replace again. Next time, use teflon tape and it wont leak. Superglue, or crazy glue, is horrible for this application, but to late now.
