hey im johnny and im definalty new to the rotary world but, ive always known what there capable of so i saved money and made sure my first car was an rx7.
anyway i have and '89 gtu and i have a massive coolant leak. thing is, i cant find it...theres no leaking in my driveway so im guessing it leaks while its really hot and being driven. can someone point me in the right direction of what to do?

If thats the case your coolant seals are probably gone, and that means rebuild time.

The other thing that comes to mind is a bad water pump. When mine went bad it would leak from the weep hole directly below the water pump pulley and onto the front cover where it would quickly be evaporated, resulting in low coolant levels and no puddles to show for them.

Take it to a shop and have the cooling system pressure tested. If there is a simple leak, it will show up. May just be a leak that doesn't happen until the system is completely hot and fully pressurized.
