coolant leak. heater/firewall hose

the line running into the heater right above the transmission is now leaking and ive been to every advanced and other shops around here and no one has or can order one.

anyone know of a different hose i can use for this and the dimensions. id take the leaking one off but its my DD for the next few weeks till it starts to warm up and i dont really like riding the motorcycle in 20 degree weather.

bypass your heater until you get a new one

that way you wont destroy your engine

If you can cut an inch and take it to a hose distributer. Re-connect the hose to your DD and go to Autocheckerboys. Or a hose distributor.

I just ran into the same issue... I went to autozone and got a goodyear universal hose for the same diameter. I got one that has a coil around it so it wont kink up when I bend it. Only cost nine bucks man... I hope this helps...

That peice comes from the heater core and is soft brass alloy. Get a small pair of needle nose pliars and gently, I said gently form it back to it's original shape. By putting one of the jaws into the pipe squeeze down and twist . On and on. Your mechanical! Get 'er done, Mag
