Coolant leak!

so it turns out i have a leak on the lower radiator hose, so i replaced it with another one. And took it for a drive to see if it still leaks, came back parked it, and it still leaks, but not as much. So whats the problem? Im sure the hose clamps are tight, and at the right spots. The leak seems to come out of the motor end of the hose, not the radiator.

Well, seen as it is the lower radiator hose that is leaking, and you have replaced it already I would have to guess it is the water pump. There should be a weep hole in the area where the pulley shaft protrudes from the body of the pump. If the seal in your pump is shot it will allow coolant to leak. I would definately check to see if the water pump is the culprit. Good luck.

Did you clean up the neck where the hose connects? Deposits often form on the aluminium where the hose sits. Clean these off with a wire wheel in a drill and it should seal better.
