Cool coolant leak

Hello, im just in a little of a bind here. Yesterday the coolant light came on so looked under the hood and the overflow was empty. So i filled it up and everything was good. Today i start my car and the buzzer comes on again. I check under the hood and the coolant is all gone . I noticed a leak in the hoze, the leak was right under where the mettle strap gose around the hoze. My guess was the strap was to tight and it heated up a hole in the hoze.

So my question is, what should i use to patch it up.

buy a new hose, don't try to do any sort of temp fix. you should be able to get a new one relatively cheap from any auto parts store.

you have to bleed the excess air out of the cooling system..... ok remove the radiator fill cap (when cold) then the air bleeder plug(on the radiator top left side) now start your car and fill through the radiator fill until there isnt any more air bubbles through thebleeder ....put on the air bleeder plug the fill to the top of theradiator fill------that should get rid of the problem

aight guys sort of a similar problem. Maybe I should post my own thread. Either way I dont see any coolant leak but seems that overflow tank is empty all the time and i see coolant on the ground. I cant see where it is leaking from but i changed the water pump and thermostat a few weeks back. Looks like that is where the leak might be coming from as I didnt use a gasket, just rtv. Anyhow what is this whole deal with the bleeding the air out? I never did bleed anything, I just filled it up and lefter as she was.
