So, today I get into my car and I see coolant on the floor. Could this be leaking from the heater core? Any help would be appreciated!

most likely. Pull the dash, pull the carpet, find leak and fix it before it causes an electrical problem.

If it coolant leaking into the car it almost has to be from the heater core. It should be on the passanger side, If the leak is not apparent the cheapest way to find the leak is with radiator dye. It is a small container of dye you add to the coolant.
Wiping the suspect area will leave red stains on the rag. There are also dyes that glow when hit with a black light. The simplest way is to have the system pressure tested. Your ethier have to purchase the tester, borrow one, or have it done by a garage. Make sure it is a coolant leak and not rain water..

Look in the engine bay where the heater hoses enter the cabin through the firewall. If you lucky, it's just a leaky connection and quick fix. Same thing happened to me.

Ya, its mostlikely the heater core. Be a good idea to do the said above. And in fact I just got done replacing my heater core too, I had to do it before it got too cold here. only took a few hours. Connections that were closest to the core its self were bad on mine. So I ended up replacing the whole thing anyway the last person who did it just looked like they put on some really crappy solder and I didnt trust it.
