This coolant/heater line is in the way of my turbo....should i..

So the heater line in the first pic is in the way of my turbo... can i just remove the metal line and replace it with some coupers and heater hose so i can snake it around the turbo? Is there any real reason that its made of metal? Anyways, here is the pictures.. I took a random picture of my TB and engine bay just for the heck of it:
