coolant guage

well i just installed my new motor and a new cluster and now the temp guage dosent go to cold. It sits more than half way up on the sweep and when i run the car it goes a quater of the way up to right under the hot sign. it is like it is going up normaly and but higher on the guage. O yea i did a n/a to tii swap if that helps.

stock guages are far from reliable. I would suggest a good quality aftermarket guage to really know whats going on. You really dont want to overheat a new motor.
