Unhappy coolant gauge after e6k

just installed the E6K, started and runs beautifully.
however, the coolant temp gauge doesn't work anymore. would replacing the coolant temp sensor have anything to do with this? how can i fix it?

my coolant level light comes on and off as well even with a full radiator. no leaks. its a s5 radiator so there's no bleed plug on the rad. how do i bleed the thing? the buzzer is really pissing me off..

no coolant temp gauge and the buzzer going off really freaks me out when driving.

Thanks in advance
=)

your guage went out the window along with the stock HARNESS that you removed!!!!! The buzzer indicates that you have some air in there. I remove the buzzer, carefully bleed the air out of there.

so i would have no choice but to run an aftermarket water temp gauge huh? would i be able to tap the signal out of the haltech coolant temp sensor to the dash?

how are you running your coolant temp?

on the usa market cars the coolant temp guage wire goes from the cluster to the dahs harness to the engine harness to the sensor. you removed the section in the engine harness, all you have to do is run a new wire from the dash harness to the sender in the block. i did the same thing on my car

i thougt that with stock motor harness i am removing only ECU water temp signal, not gauge one...

isn`t water temp sensor for gauge hooked up to other part of harness (drivers side on US versions...)?
