coolant is disaperaing!

ok, well I just got this car it runs perfect, starts every time, never floods. I flushed the coolant a few days ago, I havent really driven it around except for up and down the street (it has no plates yet) it never smokes except on cold start, but that only lasts a few minutes then it clears up.
the upper rad hose seems to go empty pretty quickley, I only had it ideling for about 25 minutes since I last topped up the coolant, I checked for bubbles, there is none.
it's raining out so I dont notice any coolant under the car or dripping, i also kept topping off the coolant as it was running so I know there isnt any pockets of air.

I dont understand this, it dosent smoke at all, it does have 1 highflow catco cat, and you think it would smoke a little, but from the looks of it, this engine is strong. even up high or at redline, no smoke.

edit: dont pay attention to my sig, it's a 87 N/A GXL

I'd say a cup in like 25 min..

anwyays I figured it out!, I went out there and looked, as I started to fill the upper rad hose I watched it for a few minutes and it would slowley drain out. then I'd add more and it would do the same. so I'm thinking, where the hell is all the water going?
turns out I guess my rad cap is crap, it's just letting it flow right into the overflow container!.
I'm sure this isnt normal.. so looks like I have to get a new rad cap.
oh, also I noticed that my upper rad cap is also messed up and allowing pressure and a little water to escape.
