ok, i blew a coolant hose, and i figure if im doing 1 i may as well do them all. the question is, how many coolant hoses are there to replace, is this difficult to do, and how much will it come to roughly?

Hey, I just recently blew a coolant hose too. I had just done the tb mod and was giving a friend a ride in my car. I went around this corner and took it to like 7500 rpm in 2nd, and when i looked out my rear view i was trailing smoke, i thought my engine went bye bye. ****...... I stopped at a gas station and opened the hood and out came a cloud of smoke and sure enough the hose i just attached like a week before blew off. The coolant was running onto the block and steaming off, hence the smoke.

cons:
10 bucks for new coolant
bought a piece to fix the hose

pros: no blown engine

You can probably get all your hoses from Mazdatrix.com or atkinsrotary.com. I just replaced my engine and while the engine was out I replaced all the hoses in the engine bay. You can get the part numbers from the Mazdatrix web, then look at their price list for each part number. Gary
