Question Coolant?

Hey everyone, ive been leaking coolant lately, and i got under the car and saw it coming from the steering linkage?!?! what the heck? I looked at my service manual (factory) and it doesnt appear that coolant flows through here, and i dont know why it would anyway. Do you have any ideas?
Here are some pics:

Am I screwed here, or is this an easy fix? The hoses appear to be in pretty good shape, i just replaced a few heater hoses cause they blew up.

thanks for the help!

take some pics from farther away. I can barley even see what that is. and no it's not comming from the steering... is it more on the driver or pass side??

it might be your water pump leaking. that would proabably land around there.

You losing coolant from somewhere else, mainly where it may actually exist in the car. Where it's ion the car now is probably a result of it being thrown into the undercarriage by wind after it fell from it's original location.

If you're leaking coolant that bad, just let the car warm up and have someone rev it to like 3K and hold it there while you look for the leak.

You have a leak at the joint between the bottom rad hose and the water pump. That is what is causing the white streak on the hose, because it is hot the wateris evaporated and leaves phosphate residue. You should take the hose off, clean all the residue off the waterpump outlet and the hose.To get a good seal I spray High Tac on the metal before slipping the hose on.You may also have a leaking water pump, check the weep hole under the pulley shaft housing and check around the water pump gasket.
