As you can see from the last photo in the linked thread. The radiator is actually about 3 inches offest to the driver side of the bay so only half of the filter is blocking it.

Samps that is really a good idea. I have one question though i still have my ac system and the i saw where you cut the whole out when i checked on my car. My question is can you still do your mod with the ac in place, or is there anywhere else to cut a whole out of in that area? I have an 88 and my AFM is a real pain in the *** do you think this will affect me at all? Im serioulsy considering your setup cuz i need some cold air into my engine, just worried about the ac system

I saw that the rad was moved, but it looked all around smaller. Are they the same size in NA and TII?

The radiator is still in the stock location. I had only moved it during the cutting process. I have no idea if the NA and turbo radiators are the same, but I’m guessing they are identical. I cannot see how this mod could be done while keeping the AC. The AC lines occupy all of the good spots to run the large tube. It would be a difficult job to reroute the AC lines. I actualy used one of the vacant holes left from the AC to start the saw-zaw through. I have removed alot of stuff and it’s hard to remember exactly where everything was. I’m just typing really short sentances.

you COULD just use one of those headlight-cover scoops and a custom airbox...
