Converting s4 to carb, removing engine harness, what wires to keep?

As the title states I'm converting my 86 s4 to carb and wanting to remove the engine harness from the bay since it's no longer needed. But I'm wanting to use all my stock gauges in the factory cluster. Also needing to know what else besides the wiring for the factory gauges I'm going to need to keep? Here is what I'm thinking I need to keep so far...

Coolant Temp: a single yellow wire that goes to the smaller sensor under the oil filter next to the oil pressure sensor.

Tach: a single yellow/blue wire behind the cluster, I know factory the tach signal comes off the leading? coil. How would I hook this up using a 12a dizzy? I'm probably setting my dizzy up direct fire (DLIDFIS?)

Oil PSI: single wire going to the oil psi sensor under the oil filter.

Volt: I'm guessing this can just be wired into any 12v switch on source?

I'll need the wiring to the headlights, headlight motors, all that and assuming it's pretty easy to dissect the loom and remove all that separately?

All the ignition wiring, wiring to the alternator, battery wiring, grounds... Is there anything else I need to keep in the engine bay when converting to carb? I'll also be removing the ECU since it will no longer be needed from what I can tell.

See the last few wiring diagrams in the FSM. They show the various harnesses and what they go to.

What are you planning to do on the ignition side of things?

We have an S4 that's carbed as our race car. For ignition, I run 2 Mallory ignition boxes (leading & trailing), 2 Blaster 2 coils (leading and trailing), and an FB distributor in place of the CAS w/ ignitors (modified).

This is what I plan on doing as well.
