My passenger side wind doesn't want to stay in place. What do I do to keep it in place. Thanks

Your regulator is broken and more than likely the cable is broken.

You have 3 options...

The first is to get a new regulator. There is a sheetload on ebay. Be glad its the passenger side.

The second option is the easiest, take the door panel off and prop the glass up with a block of wood.

Third option. This is what I did when my cable frayed and the window got stuck on the drivers side. I cut the cable (don't let the glass fall!) and pulled on it real hard. Once I had enough tension on the cable and the glass was fully up, I wrapped the cable around a screw and screwed it to the door panel.

I have since purchased a new regulator. The driver side ones are a beach to find.

So even though the window goes up and down with no problem the regulator is still considered broken

If it still goes up and down, then the cable is fine but yes, the regulator is still broken.

unless you didnt put something together right and left some bolts loose the plastic guide is likely broken in the regulator
