Convertible rear glass replacement
Someone decided it would be fun to break the rear glass on my 'vert one night when I parked it on the street in front of my house. My insurance should be covering this except for the $200 deductable. However I was wondering if it is possible to replace just the rear glass or does the entire rear section of the top need to be replaced along with it? Has anyone had just the glass replaced wihtout doing any damage to an aging top in the process? Thanks.

It will be tough to replace the glass if the top vinyl is in poor condition.
But normally if the vinyl is in decent condition, the window can be replaced without any problems.

just make sure they use a sealant on the seam at the top of the window where the seal comes together.
