Convertible, Coupe A pillar the same?

A small section of the A pillar on my vert is rusted. i want replace it but I cant seem to find a vert parts car. The alternative route is to use one off a coupe. Is the coupe and vert A pillar the same? thanks in advance

No and no. When they chopped the top to make a Vert, they engineered in a lot of compensating bracing to stiffen up the chassis. That is the difference between the Coup and Vert A pillar.
