Ok.. First off, not to be an *** or anything, but this suject was just covered in 2 different threads within the past day. They will either be on this page or the next.

YES it is possible
Get a donor car and transfer the hubs and calipers.

Hard? I haven't done it yet.. Time? A few hrs or so I would imagine. Is it worth it? DEF! 5 Lugs and 4 piston calipers are <3

Here is a write up courtesy of misterstyx69:

try to tell ya in 1000 words or less!...The back end was the toughest in my opinion.I used the Full spindle and brakes, rotors, pads Etc already together. Now the Axle nut is 32 mm.you will have to take that off. There are three nuts that hold the Soindle assembly onto the lower subframe..I think there are two 17mm and the one TOE Bolt which will be a ***** to get at and off.It is 21mm.you may end up taking the Brake caliper of,Bracketf and rotor.then bending the backing plate to get a good hold on it.you should actually get a set of DTSS bushings to replace the bushings that are most likley gonna be ripped out of your 4 lug.Put the DTSS Bushings(TOE BUSHINGS) in the 5 LUG!..Please see the www.mazdatrix website for this(DTSS bushings),as it is not FUN to do.NOW when you go to hook up the brakes Only take One off of the car at a time.this way you are not going to spend Tons of time trying to Bleed them.and If you take the 14mm bracket off the Caliper and just transfer the Whole bracket, you do not have to adjust the E-Brake later!..Make sure that the Bolts you put back in are For that Area of the car. Some bolts do look alike but are LONGER. especially the Bracket bolts for the caliper and the Ebrake bolt...that should be it for the Back.......the front is a bit Different. You do not have to take the spindle off.you take the Ball joint nut Off,the Tie rod bolt off the stabilizer bolts, and the shock Bolts(at the HUB),then you can take the caliper off While hooked up to the brakes..you hang that somewhere while you put everything else on.then at the last minute switch the Line over.YOu may need a couple extra copper crush washers,as these line Should be replaced.I didn't replace them...after everything is together each time, you bleed the brakes, they should come back solid!....i think that is just about it..

Hope that helps.
