so i was taking planning on seeing where the shifter bushing on my FC was because it was broken and very sloopy. When i undid the 3 bolts, i was being dumb a tried to shift it and the lever came undone from the transmision. How do you get it back on?

nevermind, i got it back in, i discovered that there was a arm that i had to push back for the ball to fit in.

 

so would it be hard to put in a short throw?
